Panic Island

About

Panic Island are an alternative rock 4 piece from London. Their current lineup, formed in 2018, consists of Arron ‘Sans’ Stribling (Vocals), Vinnie M (Guitar), George Todd (Bass) and Jon ‘Jon G’ Gorrotxategi (Drums). The group believe in the passion of heavy guitar anthems, alternative pop songs and hi-energy rock performances. When they’re not sweating out a rehearsal room, you’ll find them doing what most rock bands don’t; perfecting the science of Brazilian BBQ’s, testing the athletic benefits of a high-calcium diet, honing the arts of Dutch horticulture and Euskadi ice sculptures. The band have been working hard to generate an interest in their recent single, ‘Kiss America’ and accompanying video. They are steadily peeking the interest of modern rock fans from all over the globe with their unintentional D.I.Y approaches…and wit. Putting the name of the band out there has developed good relationships with local promoters. This summer they were billed once again alongside the likes of, ‘Twin Atlantic’, ‘Mallory Knox’, ‘False Heads’ and ‘DEAD!’ at ‘Camden Rocks Festival 2018’ in London. On August 4th 2018 they released their second single of the year, ‘Push & Pull’ was produced by the legendary, Romesh Dodangoda, (‘Motorhead, Funeral for a Friend, BMTH’). His ability to combine the band’s commercial songwriting style with their punk attitude has created an edgy alt-rock soundtrack to accompany any disfunctional relationship! With these catchy songs, enegmatic stage presence and a look so sharp it could cut glass… This is Panic Island.
