Pop-singer Penelope Darling has just released her debut single ‘My Mind’. This is her first release across all streaming platforms.

Originally by Yebba, ‘My Mind’ is a song that Penelope fell in love with ‘since the second i heard it’. The track was recorded with Paul Visser (Petula Clark, BBC’s Masterchef) at ‘The Recording Studio’ in London. Penelope builds upon the original’s stripped-back feel, adding atmospheric synths and intense crescendos whilst delivering an equally powerful and versatile vocal performance.

Born and raised in London, Penelope Darling has been singing from a very early age. Having studied Musical Theatre extensively, she has taken her first steps into establishing a career as a solo artist. Inspired by the likes of Etta James, Aretha Franklin and Sam Smith, her vocal chops have earned comparisons to Adele, Summer Walker and H.E.R.
