Philip Whitehead

Pain and grace emerge from within the heartbreaking soul-folk melodies of 22-year-old singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Philip Whitehead. After a youth spent stumbling fingers-first through Peter Green records and learning that one in five rock bands definitely ends in divorce, the unassuming bard released his confessional debut single, A Little Bit Real, in June of this year. Drawing upon close friends and family to help stitch together pieces from a fragmented and eclectic repertoire of songs that openly discuss the bitterness of survival, Whitehead has spent the last six months living in West London and working from living rooms, project studios and recording bunker Squarehead Studio to create a vivid declaration of songs due to be released throughout 2017.
