Sad Luv

About

Originally from London, UK is returning to music with his new project SAD LUV. You may know Hargrave as the guitar player in indie pop band FRANKLIN. He toured the world with them and co-wrote smash hit Causes in 2016, but left the band in 2017 to pursue a solo career as his alter ego, Maurice Amour. His debut album was then released in early 2019. He scored a smash hit with Colours in the Dark and played a whooping 26 shows in Australia, totalling 87 shows all over the world in 2019. Over the years, he wrote music for both himself as well as other artists as ghost writer, totalling over 40 million streams on Spotify to date. From this, Brandon signed a publishing deal with BMG in June 2019.
Sad Luv is a sensitive, deep soul with an unstoppable urge to express emotion and pour his heart out- undoubtedly, that’s one of the reasons Maurice Amour appealed to such a wide audience. When tragedy struck his family and his brother died of cancer in 2016, Brandon packed up his things and moved to Cornwall so that the avid surfer and traveller could be closer to the ocean.

“Sad Luv is about losing someone close to you” he explains. “I write a lot about situations while I search for happiness”. Encompassing life’s deeper meaning, Sad Luv offers dark pop music about changes, about loss and real feelings
