London-based alternative outfit, Shola, deliver their own brand of subtle experimental indie rock, combining curious rhythms, eclectic song structures and a subtle energy. Collaborators since school days, Andrew James and Laurence Kelly formed Shola towards the end of 2018, bringing in good friends Tom Lines on lead guitar, Francesco Forzani on drums and Lucas Uscila in synths. Their blend of layered, guitar pop and soaring alternative rock debuted in November 2018 with initial release, ‘Fool On High’, as championed by BBC Introducing and BBC 6Music. This year sees the 4-piece embark on a string of live shows in support of the full release of self-produced EP, ‘Keep Warm’, marking the beginning of a busy summer.
