In their brief existence, SKULL have continued to harness the power and dark humour they developed with their previously acclaimed band. Everything is released carefully with consideration and with every fibre of their passion. Skull spent 2017/2018 establishing a strong following, playing shows around the north and working on their debut album ‘Thoughts of the Others’.

Having finished the album, the singles ‘RPM’ and then ‘Lightswitch’ were released with accompanying music videos and broadcast exclusively on BBC Introducing. The album was launched in April 2018, via Shove It Up Your Cult Records, at the 360 Club Leeds as part of #360RAW2 – the second in a series of hand-picked events showcasing the best emerging talent in West Yorkshire with BBC Introducing DJ Alan Raw. The album was released digitally and physically through a limited pressing of transparent orange vinyl double LP. Having played for Independent Venue week and shows at the Leeds, Newcastle and Manchester Ritz O2 venues, the band are looking to play more festivals and venues that will take them to the next level in 2019.
