Soft Wax is a five-piece band fusing shiny, clean pop hooks with dirty drums and gritty guitars. Formed in late 2018 by brothers Dan & Chris Angove, the DIY bedroom project has developed into a live act with the help of new members Kerry Edwards (Drums), Beau Bishop (Guitar/BVs) and Dan Elliot (Keys/BVs).

On 18th September, the Faversham band released their debut single ‘Dreaming’ under 2728 Records, which gained an impressive response from critics and radio shows – earning plays on 6Music and BBC Introducing, where it was crowned Kent’s ‘Record Of The Week’ by Abbie McCarthy.

Since the release, the B-Side “Wake Up” also earned radio play, and the band has gone on to share stages with artists such as Broken Hands, Imperial Daze and Dan Lyons. Due to release their debut EP in March/April, there is plenty more filthy, hooky goodness to come from Soft Wax.
