Sour Kix

About

Sour Kix are a young energetic band from Woking, made up of siblings Louis, Ollie and Amelie, alongside best mates, Ed and Andries. A highly energetic mix of indie pop/rock explodes from their performances and their skill at pleasing the crowd with a selection of well crafted originals has culminated in them being requested to play at numerous festivals including main stage performances supporting Jessie J, Kaiser Chiefs, The Vamps, Lucy Spraggan, Scouting for Girls, Sound of The Sirens & The Wholls. In 2015 the band appeared live on Channel 4’s TFI Friday, drawing acclaim from presenter Chris Evans and guests Ronnie Wood and The Vamps. They released their first EP “Wildest Dreams” in 2017 and since then have been writing, recording and releasing new material. They are proud ambassadors for WWF Earth Hour and help support many other charities, including Make a Wish, Shooting Star Chase, Just a Drop, Teenage Cancer and many others. They have recently appeared on the front cover of The Musicians Handbook 2018/19 for the Musicians Union and they have just created a jingle for ‘Dogs on the the Streets’ charity. Since recording their latest tracks “Footprints” and “3am” they have gained regular AirPlay from local radio stations.
They have a number of gigs and festivals in the diary already for 2019 so keep your eyes peeled and your ears open for SOUR KiX.
