Street Asylum

About

Street Asylum are an English Alternative rock band formed in 2015 at Uppingham School, Rutland, UK. Their rich, expansive sound has captivated young audiences with epic, psychedelic soundscapes reminiscent of ISLAND, Pink Floyd, Radiohead and a hint of Two Door Cinema Club.

They have risen to prominence through multiple headline appearances at youth festivals, such their winning performance at Uppingham School’s SEED Event (for rock and pop acts) for which the prize was a support date with Scouting of Girls on their UK tour.
Formed by founding members, Archie Bowles (lead singer) and Gus Stephens (guitarist) they were subsequently joined by Christian Bostock (bass) and Ian Halim (drums) to develop their mellow sound into a Deep cutting, four piece alternative rock band.
