Formed at the beginning of 2017, Tabou is an Essex- based outfit making scintillating, soulful contemporary RnB with a blend of electro-pop and funk.
Five friends with diverse musical influences that range from Motown to Punk Rock, Tabou is quickly emerging as one of the most exciting new bands coming out of the UK.
Soho Radio’s Eddy Temple Morris described the band’s sound as “fresh nu-disco in the New York tradition” and “less Studio 54 -and more LCD Sound system.”
Their first single “Honey”, was released in April 2017 and received glittering reviews, featuring on BBC Introducing and gaining air play on BBC Radio 1 and Soho Radio.
With four singles under their belt, Tabou are looking forward to releasing their debut EP later this year.
