Valves is an alternative rock band from Dublin, Ireland. Lead by frontman Ian Plunkett, the band formed in 2011 completing a four-piece line-up. With Darragh Lynch on guitar and Paul Stokes on drums, the band spent much of it's early years writing songs and recording. Following a series of gigs in Dublin's more iconic venues, such as Whelans and the Workman's Club, the band moved to London in 2014. Valves have since released their debut UK single and music video, 'Hold The Reins,' with a headline launch at the Camden Barfly.
