Whitelands pride themselves as new comers to the DIY scene. Created by lead singer and guitarist Etienne Quartey-Papafio in 2017, he was later joined by drummer Jagun Meseorisa and bassist Edward Coma. With a fresh take on rock’n’roll and an array of eclectic influences gave Whitelands the ability to write heartfelt songs combined with the gritty and chunky distortion-heavy rhythms of a true post-punk or shoegaze trio
