London mystical association composed of J-hama, song rider & Wako, cooking beats. Producing electronic Alternative Pop Music in the West London caves, the duo forms a powerful combination of seductive melodies and hypnotic rhythms. A perfect example of the genre-bending antics that is customary on the fringes of the electronic music scene, they take cues from Photay, Flying Lotus and James Blake but also hint at soul, jazz, trap and French electronica. J-hama and WAKO are originally from China and France respectively, different background and inspirations make this group's creative process and music-making very interesting, you can definitely hear various differences from their music such as Electronic, soul, jazz, World Music, etc.. Inspired by artists like KAYTRANADA, Sampha, fLako, Ibeyi, James Blake, Jai Paul, YUN SEN have been experimenting different genres in the electronic scene and trying to create an ambitious and intriguing project. teamed up in London music university ICMP and started making music from the summer of 2017, YUN SEN just released their first single "One Day" on 5th of June, 2018, and this single already got support from Tom Robinson's BBC Introducing Mixtape at BBC 6, Fresh on the net, Acid Stags, etc.. The versatility of 'One Day' is what made it an obvious choice for the band's first release, "It’s a good song to represent us as the first single – because it is punchy, but still leaves us some space to explore different vibes within our style." "Expansive and structurally complex, new sounds and textures are consistently introduced as the track progresses. " —-the Unsigned Guide Just like what we need in this world, love, equality, forgiveness and the respect to what we don't understand or even accept, YUN SEN want their music to tell more than one genre, one feeling, one love. Following airplay for the track on BBC Radio 6 Music's Introducing Mixtape, Amazing Radio, the next single is in the pipeline and set to hit the Internet by Autumn, with the guys focusing on regular live shows and quarterly single releases over the next 12 months.
