Tara Flanagan

Tara is an up and coming artist of Irish – Filipino descent, hailing from the sunny shores of Poole, now living in the heart of London. She exuberates a punchy pop sound, with passionate, emotive vocals and lyrics, often fused with thriving electronic backlines, which make for a captivating, energetic performance. “With her fabulous sultry vocals and excellent songwriting ability she has the talent, professionalism and drive to go very far in the industry.” Mike Myore, Producer (Production credits; Ministry of Sound, Spinnin Records, BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM) Some of Tara’s musical highlights include performing at the BBC Introducing Live Lounge, performing as a closing guest act at the ‘House of iKons’ show at London Fashion Week, and being a support act for several established acts such as American Soul, R&B group, Shalamar, pop singer Rebecca Ferguson, 90’s band FIVE, East 17 and Kovic on their UK Tours. Extremely proud of her roots, Tara has annually performed at the London Barrio Fiesta – the biggest Filipino Festival in Europe, performing to approximately 20,000 people. The event was also televised by the Filipino TV station ABS-CBN. Tara is THRILLED to be a part of the Hot Vox New Blood Isle of Wight Competition and cannot wait to perform with her band. The venue

Tooting Tram and Social is an eclectic, delightful venue, which, as the name might suggest, was a Tram shed in it’s past life.

While it still retains it’s unique surroundings, velvet banquette trimmed corners provide a perfect setting for after work drinks and an ideal bit of respite from wearing out your legs on the dancefloor in the small hours whilst live bands and DJs provide the soundtrack to your weekend.
