If you’re looking for one of the best and only traditional pubs in Kings Cross then you’re in the right place – Star of Kings was here before it was the place to be. Take a 5-minute walk behind Kings Cross station and you’ll find it – just opposite Granary Square. The venue is not just about the drinks (although it’s proud to boast about its great selection of craft beers, cocktails and wines) it also has a fantastic kitchen hosting some of London’s best street food traders. The venue is currently joined in the kitchen by Thai wizards Krapow!
It’s three floors of jam packed action! On any given night you’re sure to find something to entice you from live DJs – Basement Jaxx used to have a residency there and Charlie Sloth even presented his Rap Show for 1 Xtra in the basement. So, whether it’s the function room upstairs, the back of the pub on the ground floor or its basement club area and let’s not forget its weekly Tuesday night quiz! If you don’t want the party to end you can always book out its upstairs airbnb, because then the fun doesn’t have to stop.
