Meet the lineup

Mantis State

First formed at Leeds Conservatoire, Mantis State’s signature sound has been widely praised for meticulously balancing soulful vocals, heavy riffs, warm brass and ambient electronics.

After relocating to London, Mantis State have sold-out shows in venues including Camden’s Jazz Café and Soho’s Spice of Life, and performed at the 2021 Isle of Wight festival.

Their highly anticipated debut EP, Into the Sun draws on an eclectic range of influences, including Metronomy, Supertramp and Tame Impala. Into the Sun tests the boundaries of music, with catchy, melodic riffs and vibrant vocals swirling into complex instrumental sections.
