 Making Waves today is ‘Get Up’ by Mariana Barona

Mariana Barona is a Colombian singer and songwriter based in the UK. Growing up between the two cultures, she has been influenced by pop, R&B and reggaeton. Her unique sound subtly bridges the gap between the Latino and English speaking worlds by creating a new but inviting sound, which fuses the cultures together. Her style is funky, fun and up-lifting. Mariana´s debut single, “Get Up” was co-written with Larry Dvoskin: four time Grammy nominated songwriter. The song also features Spottie Wifi, the world´s first Cryptorapper.

Accompanying Mariana will be Rory Dinwoodie on the piano and sax, Vic Palmer on the drums, Seb Priest on the bass and Q Zanjani on the guitar.
