Today’s Featured Artist Of The Day is Amity

ASBO’s Jan 24 “one to watch”, Amity’s a 16yo multi-award-winning artist whose “dark, defiant…dramatic” sound won the Royal Albert Hall’s ‘23  “Future Maker” title, with a solo show there in ‘24. His “stunning voice” (BBC Radio) & emotive performances led to The Guardian writing of his “miraculous” vocals and  “dense surreal lyricism of Regina Spektor”. The “uncanny beauty” of his “exceptional songwriting”* saw the SAYS’ industry panel listing him in the UK’s top 30 young songwriters. Awarded Best Singer 23 (RBE Musical Excellence Awards), his “profound, brooding…rebellious” songs (Durham Magazine) have the “heart breaking power of Nina Simone” & “the vulnerability of Joni Mitchell”*. This “star in the making” (Lyme Bay Radio) writes with Dee Adam (Kaiser Chiefs) & Andrew Kingslow (John Legend).
