Eyah is inspired by what she sees and channels her perceptions through her writing. Having taught herself the basics of production she enjoys a collaborative method to her music.

With influences ranging from Old soul to Afro-house, she has found her own crevice to breed her alternative contribution to R&B. After growing up in a household where Erykah Badu and Mobb Deep were played, Eyah has an appreciation and understanding for a spectrum of genres.
