This weekend we have Fransis taking to the stage AT ACKLAM

Hailed as ‘Jessie J meets Joan Jett’ FRANSIS (formally known as Emma & the Idles) are an alt/indie rock band based in London, U.K. made up of front woman and singer songwriter Emma Withers, guitarists Alex Scott, Stefan Kotlarz and bassist Craig Rattray. With a balls to the wall approach to their sound and sharp songwriting style, they have regularly been compared to the likes of Wolf Alice and Florence + the machine. Each song on this EP will smack you in the face in a slightly different way, and whilst they float between genres of alt, rock, indie, pop, soul and blues; they show an unrelenting penchant for dramatic, powerful and meaningful music.
