With all that going on, we feel it’s our duty to tell you what’s going on AT ACKLAM this weekend…

This weekend we have Hannah Hu taking to the stage AT ACKLAM

Bradford born songstress Hannah Hu makes music that explores themes of melancholia in the modern world; explosions of heartache, waves of soaring vocals and confessions. This is the sound of a young woman finding her power.

During her studies at Goldsmiths College Hannah received the Rob Stringer Scholarship (SONY) and she embarked on her own sonic journey. Collaborating in 2016 with Scottish rock band @primalscreamofficial on a UK tour supporting their album Chaosmosis. Hannah contributed backing vocals, proving herself a strong visual and vocal presence.

In 2019 Hannah collaborated with UK electronic music pioneer @adamskiofficial for the 30th anniversary of his classic Killer track, alongside Boy George and Nina Hagen.

Hannah has spent 2020 and 2021 in the studio, writing and recording her debut EP Prisoner of Love with @tobyandersenpiano, set for release later this year.

So make sure to check out Hannah Hu at 1.30pm and 4.30pm this Saturday 22nd May AT ACKLAM
