This weekend we have Honky Tonk Feet taking to the stage AT ACKLAM
This band plays bar-room country music firmly rooted in the rock-influenced styles pioneered by people like Dwight Yoakam and the ‘outlaw country’ of Willie Nelson, with a strong measure of the early Americana of Dylan and the Band. Playing a mixture of covers and originals (see bandcamp). The band was put together by EJ Cranny and Dave Frankel, formerly of the Brixton Hillbillies, bringing in a seasoned rhythm section from the north London blues scene of Pete Abernethy and Pete Feldon.
So make sure to check out Honky Tonk Feet at 2.30pm and 5.30pm this Saturday 7th AT ACKLAM
