This weekend we have JP Sampson & The Delilahs taking to the stage AT ACKLAM

With songs of cruel beauty in the wide open spaces of love, JP Sampson explores workaday heartbreak tangled in haunting melodies for broken dreams and the lives that passed us by. Smitten by the grittiness and storytelling of classic Americana, tempered by a youth spent playing hard, loud & loose in Grunge & Indie bands, JP mines the spirit of Gram Parsons, Lucinda Williams and Townes Van Zandt to bring a uniquely personal perspective to heartfelt songs of love, lust, betrayal and loss.

Aided and abetted by the riotously talented ‘Delilahs’ – being abandoned by your lover has never been so much fun.
