AT ACKLAM // RANGOON

Acklam Village Market is one of West London’s true gems. Tucked away just off the world-famous Portobello Road Market, you’ll find a fun festival atmosphere every single weekend.

Acklam Village Market is a feast for the senses, with a diverse range of street food from across the globe, including some mouthwatering vegan offerings, craft beer, creative cocktails and organic ciders from as well as live music performances every hour! With all that going on, we feel it’s our duty to tell you what’s going on AT ACKLAM this weekend…

This weekend we have Rangoon taking to the stage AT ACKLAM

If there’s a genre called “Urban Country”, Rangoon claims it.  Thumping rhythms, underlie blues based original material with country overtones and gritty street cred. Melodrama, passion and humour abound in stories of love and loss where fantasy and reality clash, and nothing is resolved.

“Smoked-filled nights & whiskey dreams, and nightmares when I’m awake”
– Whiskey Dreams (Album ‘Going Back to the City)

Original songs, written by Will Hudson, telling tall urban tales of worn-out hearts, broken hearts and lonesome hearts.

Rangoon is Will Hudson on guitars and vocals, Michele Haniotis on drums and vocals, Richard Harrison on bass and Howard Sarna on lead guitar and vocals.

So make sure to check out Rangoon at 2.30pm & 5.30pm this Saturday the 18th of June AT ACKLAM

This is a free entry event however please feel free to book a table by emailing acklamvillage.booking@gmail.com
