Deanna Chase blends her R&B inspired sound, with edge, attitude and honesty. Drizzled with darker, grittier tones and sweet juxtaposing harmonies, her approach to music is playful, raw, bittersweet and unapologetically provoking. English and Trinidadian, Deanna grew up a devoted music fan and dancer, and started her career gigging within the UK Rap and R&B scene, using Hip-Hop and Trap beats to host her unique melodies – here she was recognised by the likes of MOBO. She has intentionally developed her voice, mastering her approach, prioritising a defiant self worth and authenticity in an ever changing industry and world, wearing it boldly as a message to, and for others.
