DrewJam writes and performs rhythmic, catchy tunes with powerful, reflective lyrics.

His musical heritage is rooted in an Irish ancestry and a northern English upbringing; he is a strong vocalist, classically trained since childhood in piano and guitar.

DrewJam loves live performance above all else; he has gigged around London as a solo artist and in a duo for a number of years. More recently he has explored the Hertfordshire music scene, performing at festivals and connecting with a growing audience.

His stage presence, style and technique is very much his own – a blend of soulful acoustic rock. Though he has many musical influences inspiring his technique and songwriting, including Eric Clapton, Sting, Mark Knopfler, Neil and Tim Finn, U2, Paul Weller, Roddy Frame, Tom McRae, George Michael, Deacon Blue and many others.

DrewJam has an expanding catalogue of original songs, with 3 strong single releases in 2019, with exciting plans to share more of his music across 2020, including a brand new single on 21 February – All That We Can Be. This soaring and life-affirming rock song channels the needs we all have to hold on to our loved ones and to our dreams.

WANT TO HEAR MORE? DrewJam is taking part in RISING, our brand new series of live-streamed events, which aims to support and raise money for War Child UK to assist their work during the Covid-19 crisis.

HOT VOX have raised thousands of pounds for War Child through live gigs and events over the past two years. Now we’re taking RISING online, and with the help of our immensely talented roster of artists, we hope to raise even more vital funds for this valuable cause.
