With the amount of emerging talent currently bursting onto the scene, it can be hard to keep up with the hottest new acts.

So here at Hot Vox, we’re slowing things down and really taking the time to check out one of our favourite new acts.

Today we do a Deep Dive into Cardinal.

Hailing from West London, Cardinal is a rock band formed in 2020 naming themselves after the Cardinal Wiseman School located in Greenford, West London. The band is composed of five members who attended the school. Cardinal has formed their sound using hard rock, indie, grunge, alternative, and brit-pop influences. Their music is inspired by artists such as U2, Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, and Kings of Leon.

The band currently has two singles called “Another Way Out” and “The Other Side”. They have been writing and recording music as well as performing live since 2021. Having played in the Isle of Wight New Blood Competition Final and with a new EP on the way soon, Cardinal is paving the way for themselves in the music scene so don’t miss out on the action and make sure you see them live on 27th April at Bush Hall.
