FRESH FINDS // CACKLE

Today we look into one of our latest Fresh Finds, Cackle. Looking for playlist inspiration? Bored with all your favourites and looking for new ones? Wanting to discover the freshest talent on the scene? We’ve got you covered.

Here at HotVox, we’re giving you the lowdown on the best artists you need to be listening to.

“Cackle by name, Cackle by nature” – the first line of the band’s Spotify biography. I could only expect great things reading further and learning more about this band. They describe themselves as ‘menacingly entertaining’ and I’ve never read anything so true and so wickedly amusing. Clearly a band with something to say – Cackle are ones to watch out for.

Inspired by legends such as Queens of the Stone Age and Arctic Monkeys, it’s no surprise that Cackle turn out banger after banger. Perfectly wrapped in the essence of rock, coated in angular riffs and sprinkled with catchy hooks, it’s shocking to me that more people don’t know about this amazing four-piece.

A big favourite of mine is their 2017 release ‘Push the Button’. If you do anything today, go listen to this tune. This is an instantly cool track. Completely effortless and so so easy to listen to. You almost feel pulled to slide into your old leather jacket and aviators, whack your headphones in and pretend you’re the literal edgiest thing to walk down the high- street.

Push The Button

Cackle

Quite simply, it’s the soundtrack you need to hype you up before you take on the world. And the guitar solo at the end only adds extra cool points to the whole vibe. The band played Camden Assembly back in February alongside a host of other amazing acts and it was a killer show! Such vibrant and electric energy, you could feel it pulsing round the room.

Do not make the mistake of missing their next show, give the band a follow on instagram – @cacklemusic – to keep up to date on what’s bound to be another insane performance.

To use their words: “Don’t call it a comeback, we’ve been here for years.” I think its time you listen to them and get onto these insanely talented lot.
