Today’s FRESH FIND is DUDE, MY DUDE.

DUDE, MY DUDE are super impressive… like really impressive. With 55k listeners a month, I don’t need to tell you how crazy talented this duo are – but I will anyway! They’re certainly ones to watch, stream, follow and simply admire.

To me, the band give such comfort energy. Their tracks ‘Loser’ and ‘Tired Vibes’ in particular, blend that perfect indie alt sweetness with a 2000’s emo rock sourness. They write bangers basically!!!

As we round out the end of the year make sure you add these fellas to your playlists for 2023 to be a year of guaranteed anthems and absolute tunes. 

Back in December the band played 93 Feet East to celebrate and welcome in the release of their latest EP ‘Brave It Together’. What an incredible show it was – if you missed this one, definitely pay attention for upcoming gigs in the new year – you don’t want to miss another opportunity to see these incredible talents perform live. 

The EP itself is wonderful. That was the first word that came to mind when I’d listened to it in its entirety. And thinking about it again, wonderful seems the best word to describe it. Completely accessible and relatable and yet fresh and like no band yo0u’ve heard before, DUDE, MY DUDE take all the best elements from your favourite indie rock songs and warp them into something totally singable and catchy.

 ‘Kids In Madrid’ is my personal favourite and the drop in the first half of the song is one of those musical moments that you cannot help but break out into a smile when listening, maybe even a little dance if you’re really feeling it. 

Excited to see these guys continue performing and releasing, I can’t wait to watch what they do next. Whatever it is – it will certainly be incredible. Join me in adding this Fresh Find to your musical collection.
