Today’s Future Icon is Tayah!

As one of 2023’s KISS Hype Chart Artists, Tayah is a multi-talented Singer, Songwriter and Vocal Producer, who is at the fulcrum of an evolving R&B scene, making music driven by a desire to inspire & tell her story her way. Born and raised in West London, UK, and combining various experimental sounds with her lyricism, Tayah cites icons such as Loose Ends, Missy Elliot and Ari Lennox as the pivotal influences in her music. Being an avid admirer of 70’s and 80’s Soul as well as Lovers Rock, Reggae and Rare Groove culminates in her producing a unique musical experience that is authentic and grounded in reality, and leads her in the genre of ‘Fusion-Soul’.
