Having amassed over 500,000 streams from his previous releases and Inspired by the likes of Bruno Mars, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man and J Hus, Kanda uses his lyrical storytelling to speak about several different socially dividing topics with the younger generation. From the age of 8, KANDA has been continuously performing in school, starting with cover songs and then from the age of 14 he began writing and producing his own songs and becoming very active on the music scene both locally and nationally.

Now having reached the tender age of 18, he is ready to accelerate his musical journey. In January 2023 he was signed to an independent record label in Leicester called HQ Familia & HQ Recording.
