The Rizz

Everyone loves to say they were a fan of ‘insert artist name here’ before they were famous, right? Well, if that’s the case then ‘Heard it Hear First’, terrible pun aside, is your go to destination to discover your new favourite act and keep up to date with the latest and most exciting emerging artists currently on the scene.

Today you can say you heard ‘Fishing In a Wishing Well’ by The Rizz here first!

The Rizz are a high-energy five-piece rock ’n’ roll band from Southeast London, fusing classic British attitude with a sharp modern edge. They built their name on the city’s grassroots circuit through relentless gigging and raw live performances. Their hard work paid off with a standout slot at the Isle of Wight Festival, marking a major breakthrough. Inspired by The Clash, Arctic Monkeys, and Oasis, their sound balances nostalgia with urgency. Festival appearances like Camp Bestival have cemented their reputation. With a new single and headline shows coming, The Rizz are gaining momentum and shaping up for a major 2026.
