Compound Radius is the artist name and band name adopted by Arnab Datta (Radius) alternative rock artist who is the frontman of the band. He is the singer/songwriter,lead guitarist and lead vocalist. Radius’s compositions are mostly inspired from Rock, metal, alternative rock, funk, folk, soul, electronica and world music. His songs are in 4 languages, English, Bengali, Hindi and sanskrit but mostly English &Bengali. His music is guitar driven with lots of riffs and solos and changing tempos which keeps the audience engaged and excited. His compositions usually talk about, introspection, self-belief, positivity and change. The music is fresh with impactful melodies woven with soulful lyrics.

Compound Radius

Who is Compound Radius?

Emerging from the Covid pandemic in 2020 were Compound Radius, a thrilling London band blending rock, funk, soul, electronica, metal and world music. Arnab Datta, aka Radius, is the frontman of the band. He is their lead singer, lead guitarist and songwriter whose lyrics are in four languages; English, Bengali, Hindi and Sanskrit. His similarly multi-talented wife Aditi provides ideas and female vocals. On drums is the energetic Rajib Chakraborty, and on bass the brilliant Dan Mackrill. Compound Radius have ben gigging since September 2021 and played their first big show in July 2022 supporting the legendary Graham Bonnett at the Boston Music Room in London.
