For those that don’t know you, describe your act in just a few sentences.

My act can be described as very engaging, fun and emotional.

Song from the first album you ever bought/listened to?

Some of the first songs that I have ever listened to are by India Arie. When I was younger, we used to go on holidays and travel by car. These are one of the first moments where I remember listening to her.

A song you wish you had written?

Ah, there is too many. However, one of my favourite songs lyrics wise is ‘Here’ by Alessia Cara. I think the word and melody choices in this song are so so good. I absolutely love the concept as well.

A song that inspires you?

A song that has inspired me in my life, is ‘A Song For You’ by Donny Hathaway. I think the song is so beautifully written and it really embodies old soul. I love listening to old soul, because it really reminds me of my love for music and my childhood.

Last song you purchased?

Even though we all have a strong dislike against Spotify, I am a happy consumer of it.. haha. The last tracks that I have downloaded is Drake’s new album: ‘Honestly, never mind.’ My favourite song is ‘Massive’.

A song that makes you feel nostalgic?

A song that makes me feel nostalgic is ‘Dilemma’ by Nelly and Kelly Rowland. This song always takes me back to my childhood, my cousins were always playing this song at their house.

Your favourite sing-along song in the shower?

My favourite sing-along song in the shower is definitely ‘End of the Road’ by Boyz II Men.

A song that confirmed your love for music?

There is so many songs that have confirmed my love for music. However, if I have to pick one song it will definitely be ‘A change is gonna come’ by Sam Cooke.

A song you put on when getting ready for a big night out?

Before I go out I always listen to Afro music. Lately I have been obsessed with the song ‘Love don’t cost a dime’.

The song you put on repeat if you’ve just had your heart broken?

The song I have on repeat when I have my heart broken is, ’These Boys ain’t shit’ by SAYGRACE. I always try to remind myself that there comes sunshine after rain and that I have a big influence on how I feel, so I’d rather listen to something more uplifting then something that is sad when I feel down.

Your worst guilty pleasure song?

My worst guilty pleasure song must be ‘Party in the USA’ by Miley Cyrus.
