In our opinion, nothing makes you feel quite as immersed within an artist’s music – actually, you can’t beat a live show atmosphere for full immersion but we’re definitely biased there.. Today’s One To Watch is ‘Bored’ by Silverfish

Leeds-based indie-rock/pop outfit Silverfish deliver vibrant, punchy energy while creating space for vivid and rich introspection. The four-piece band take inspiration from the likes of Foals, Sticky Fingers, and Radiohead to create distinctive indie-rock music filled with character and variety.

First formed in late 2021, members Tom Gannon (vocals), George Bolger (drums), and Ben Norton (Bass, Synth) all met at the University of Leeds and since then have been performing sold out headline gigs. In the summer of 2022, the band played at Y Not Festival under BBC Introducing, and recently have been featured on Radio X, BBC Leeds, BBC York, and BBC East Midlands.
