The Oscar Nominated are a five piece guitar band from Hertfordshire/Essex who create hook laden, vibrant, indie rock.

The band rose from the ashes from 90’s bands Poplark and Moses and features Brothers- in-law Dave Carver (guitar) and George Kaye (vocals), Kevin Starr (drums),Patrick Bennett (guitar) & Ian Starling (bass).

They released their first single ‘Things Are Easier When I’m Not Thinking’ in September 2022 and are currently finishing their debut album which is due out in Spring 2023.
