Who is Raffi? Where are you from, how long have you been playing music etc
Hi my name is Raffi Maxwell I am originally from Glastonbury in Somerset and I have been
singing and writing music from the age of 8 and I’m the last year I’ve finally decided it’s the right time to start releasing and showing the world !

If you had to describe your sound using just five words, what would they be?
Energetic, emotional, Dreamy, buzzing , Hopeful

Who are your biggest influences musically?
Micheal Jackson, Justin Bieber, Stevie Wonder

What’s your songwriting process?
My song writing process normally starts with a chord progression, from there I take inspiration
from my current mental state or situation in my life and try my hardest to put that into some sort
of mumble word for to create a melody that I like I then record the mumble demo and get my
note pad out and start blazing my pen around the paper until I hit the right kinda sound

When you were younger, what was the first album that blew you away and you remember
putting on repeat non-stop?
Avril Lavigne – Let Go

As a performer, what’s your biggest claim to fame so far?
I’ve played at Glastonbury Festival !!

If you could go on tour with any current band or artist, who would it be and why?
Pink sweats or Sam tompkins, Justin Bieber

If you could put your dream team band together consisting of any musicians from the
past or present who would the band members be?
Stevie Wonder on keys, Jimi Hendrix on guitar

How would you describe your live show to someone who has never seen you perform before?
“Ear therapy It’s like going to heaven then back to earth” as one of my fans have described

Do you have any pre-gig or post gig rituals? If so, what and why?
I post a goofy photo of me announcing my gig on social media, and after the gig I normally go
out and eat some of my favorite food, PIZZA !

What would your ultimate rider be if you could have anything without being accused of
being a diva?
Open the top of Wembley and skydive onto stage and drag race a urus home.

If we were to browse your music library what is the most embarrassing song we might
find? Or who is your guilty pleasure artist?
Easy, the ‘Over the Hedge’ sound track by Ben Folds. I love it so shush. My guilty pleasure artist
is definitely Avril Levigne she’s a huge throw back to my childhood.

Tell us one thing your fans would be really shocked or surprised to hear or learn about
you.
I cycled the length of England and Scotland from lands end to John o’ Groats when I was
twelve. I learned the struggles of perseverance and that the only way to progress is to keep
pushing. So whenever you feel your starting to loose momentum, blink. And keep going ! You
will get there.

Finally, What does the future hold for you as an artist?
My dream is to support an Artist on tour. For real I would freakkkk outtt if I ever got to go and
support someone on tour ! I’m going to be releasing new music in the form of an E.P / Album
hopefully by out in 2023. But yes in conclusion more music more shows I love y’all <3
