Some tracks are so good that you can’t help but hit repeat again and again. We’re lucky enough to experience that feeling quite often with our talented roster, so we thought it would only be fair to share… Today’s TRACK OF THE DAY is From Home by Fletchr Fletchr.

Fletchr is a combination of two artists who met at school and have proceeded to live and create together for 8 years. Rohan and Adam formed Fletchr because they didn’t believe there was anyone making music quite like them. Adam’s outstanding musical knowledge and love for jazz combined with Rohan’s emotional lyrics and folk inspirations have combined perfectly to create something new, situated in the indie-rock world while still carving out its own niche.

The duo are currently gigging and working on their debut EP, aiming for release by September. As a unit, Fletchr take pride in being as self-sufficient as possible and programming their entire live sets themselves.

This single ‘From Home’ was released TODAY and is a beautiful example of the duo’s incredible talent and unique sound, displaying their gorgeous harmonies and intimate style of songwriting. A combination of their influences including the Rolling Stones and Bon Iver are prevalent throughout the song with a laid-back rock sound that matches both members performance energy. This heartbreaking track tackles the concept of falling out of love, leading listeners through a growing sound that swells at the end providing the perfect opportunity for both members to pour their hearts out through lyrics that take the listener on a journey through this turmoil. The raw vocal sound allows listeners to really hear and feel the heartache that is being processed throughout the song.
