Some tracks are so good that you can’t help but hit repeat again and again. We’re lucky enough to experience that feeling quite often with our talented roster, so we thought it would only be fair to share… Today’s TRACK OF THE DAY is Blue by Nick Magenta

22 year-old Nick Magenta is a singer/songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Reading, now living in London. Formerly going by the name Roche, Nick started producing and releasing originals in 2014 and released his EP ‘Pink Sounds’ on all streaming platforms in the summer of 2017. Since then, Nick has played a number of gigs in London and has worked on cementing what he feels is his ‘true sound’.

Nick has consistently featured on BBC Introducing shows across England over the past three years, and now feels he is ready to release his major project under his new name, which will be released after a stream of singles this year. Nick takes inspiration from a number of artists, mostly Kid Cudi, The 1975 and Damon Albarn.

A combination of 80’s inspired synth-pop and modern indie styles is the best way to describe Nick Magenta’s production style – and this certainly comes across in his live performances.
