Some tracks are so good that you can’t help but hit repeat again and again. We’re lucky enough to experience that feeling quite often with our talented roster, so we thought it would only be fair to share…
Today’s TRACK OF THE DAY is Papaya (Acoustic) by Sugoi Ne
Sugoi ne is an indie electronic duo from London formed in 2018.
Meeting as colleagues in a South London recording studio, they soon formed a creative partnership exploring their shared love of alternative rock and pop music. The pair’s professional background in audio engineering also brought a tendency to tell the story of the songs through sound design Easter eggs in each track.
Sugoi ne draw influence from a variety of artists and genres including 80s pop (Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel, The Pretenders), 90s UK rock (The Beautiful South, Radiohead), 2000s alternative rock (Paramore, Tool) and more modern Indie / Psych (Everything Everything, Tame Impala, The Mars Volta).
If you like what you heard, you can buy tickets HERE for their upcoming show on the 23rd of July at Spice of Life.
